Returns

Eco-story offers a 30 day return period and carries a 5-year warranty on our stock model Cultivate Technology line of LED grow light fixtures*. Any fixture that fails within the warranty period of the invoice or purchase date will be replaced free of charge. Eco-story’s LED grow light fixtures are only covered for the five years from the invoice or purchase date. Replacement fixtures do not receive a new five-year warranty. Fixtures are deemed failed if they experience catastrophic failure and if they lose greater than 30% of their lumen output. 

30 Day Return Process: All stock model Cultivate Technology LED grow light fixtures can be returned within 30 days of the purchase date shown on the invoice. Please contact our office at 207-699-5727 with your invoice number to be issued a return authorization code. All unwanted merchandise must be accompanied by the return authorization code and returned to Eco-Story at the address below (return shipping freight is not covered under the 30-day return policy). Upon receipt of the returned merchandise Eco-Story will issue a full refund of the product cost.

Warranty Return Process: Return freight is not covered under the warranty program, but replacement fixtures can be obtained by first contacting our offices at 207-699-5727 to be issued a return authorization code. Fixtures deemed to have failed by the customer must be accompanied by the return authorization code and then returned to Eco-Story at the address below. Upon receipt of the failed fixture Eco-story will promptly send a replacement free of all charges to the desired location.

Warranty Exclusions: This warranty applies only to the repair or replacement of the product and only when the product is properly handled, installed and maintained according to our instructions. Eco-story, LLC’s warranty will be considered null if the customer uses the LED lights in a manner for which it is not intended. Examples include outdoor use, use where voltage exceeds 120 volts, used in completely sealed fixtures, or water damage on non-water proof fixtures. Non-dimmable lamps installed on dimmable circuits even when kept at full power can damage the lamp and are not covered under warranty. This warranty excludes defects resulting from improper installation, acts of God, fire, vandalism or civil disturbances. This warranty excludes field labor, freight or service charges related to the repair or replacement of the product. We reserve the right to change the warranty period without prior notice and without incurring obligation and expressly disclaim all warranties not stated in this limited warranty.

*5 year warranty applies to all model Cultivate Technology LED grow fixtures with the exception of custom built fixtures that are outside of our standard specifications, or fixtures that contain UV diodes.
